Seneca Village Organic Cotton Tee

six/20

Before it was called Central Park, it was called Seneca Village, a thriving middle class African-American community from about 1823 to 1853 when The New York Legislature used Eminent Domain to remove its 1600 residents in favor of a park. Yup, New York destroyed an entire community in favor if a park.  Those that did not just walk away from their property, were physically removed and often beat and bludgeoned.  It is now on us to remember and honor this community. This organic bamboo cotton tee is the perfect addition to your wardrobe.
